The Sovereign Women
A Sovereign Woman - Nefertiti Revisited
History is dotted with stories of the beautiful royal ladies, mentioning of whom stirs the soul of the connoisseurs, historians, poets, artists, musicians, singers and writers. Egyptian Royal "Nefertiti" struck a painter’s soul in me. So here you have "Nefertiti" the strikingly beautiful and magnificent Egyptian royal of yore.
Nefertiti symbolizes everything that modern day Women lib advocates yearn for. The grandeur of the queen makes her stand head and shoulder above all and sundry of her times. It seems Egyptian antiquity is best known by this form. She conjures up all the attributes and attraction that a female can have except as a reproduction machine. Today’s world is producing more and more Nefertiti who are formidable in the fields of Politics, Corporate world and Art world.

I painted Sharp featured Highness "Nefertiti". An Egyptian queen and the Great Royal Wife of Akhenaten, an Egyptian Pharaoh. Nefertiti is widely known for her beauty and versatility. |
Highness Neferneferuaten [Nefertiti], whose name means "a beautiful woman has come," was Egyptian queen and the Great Royal Wife of Akhenaten, an Egyptian Pharaoh during the 14th century B.C. She and her husband established the cult of Aten, the sun god, and promoted Egyptian artwork that was radically different from its predecessors. A bust of Nefertiti is one of the most iconic symbols of Egypt.
she reigned at what was arguably the wealthiest period of Ancient Egyptian history. Some scholars believe that Nefertiti ruled briefly as Neferneferuaten after her husband's death and before the accession of Tutankhamun.
Nefertiti had many titles including Hereditary Princess; Great of Praises; Lady of Grace, Sweet of Love; Lady of The Two Lands; Main King's Wife, his beloved, Great King's Wife, his beloved, Lady of all Women and Mistress of Upper and Lower Egypt.

One of the rare collections at Berlin's Neues Museum, is the famous sculptured bust of Nefertiti. The Sculpture is one of the most copied works of ancient Egypt. It was attributed to the sculptor named Thutmose. The Bust is a painted stucco-coated limestone. The work is believed to have been crafted in 1345 B.C. The bust is notable for the realistic facial proportions while retaining the Royal grandeur !!. This unforgettable piece of art and history fired my imagination. And there you have Neferititi Revisited
An Egyptian art shows a power of women in the world. It was a great example of beauty
and management of the whole empire with all the conspiracies and difficulties.
